The discsovery pipeline shows that Addex' discovery capabilities are broadly applicable and have important clinical and commercial potential. The company currently performs multiple screens per year to discover new allosteric modulators in three core areas: CNS diseases, metabolic disorders and inflammation. The target selection process takes into account multiple variables ranging including: the likelihood of finding drug-like allosteric modulators; the medical need; the commercial opportunity; and the company's growth strategy.
