ADX10059 in GERD
Preclinical evidence suggested that mGluR5 is involved in the underlying mechanism of GERD. In the first clinical validation of mGluR5 in GERD, Addex reported in 2007 that ADX10059 met the primary endpoint in a placebo-controlled French Phase IIa trial in 24 patients.
Phase IIb trial design and regulatory preparations are underway; the testing is scheduled to start in late 2008.
