Allosteric modulators can address a wide variety of validated targets in a novel way. As a result, Addex has chosen to focus mainly on therapeutic targets where existing products have established large markets and Addex believes its allosteric modulators could offer significant advantages like improved efficacy, fewer side effects, lower costs for payors and/or easier administration and better patient compliance.
