Key responsibilities
• Audit, selection of suppliers and evaluation
• Lead the development and implementation of purchasing strategies
• Negotiate contracts (for studies and with suppliers)
• Ensure successful delivery of identified cost savings
Main tasks
• Analysis of internal needs
• Supervision of all purchase orders and their follow-up
• Supervision of 1-2 Purchasing Assistants
Requirements
• Strong experience in purchasing and negotiation (minimum experience of five years)
• Good communication skills with suppliers and internal customers
• Ability to work in a multifunctional/multicultural environment
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry would be a plus
• English and French fluent
• Good knowledge of standard software and ERP
